The Full Results are now available for download.
For the General Belief Survey:
- 24% regarded themselves as being very satisfied with their position in life.
- 12% described themselves as atheists, but 28% were believers in a trinitarian God.
- 19% of those surveyed did not believe in Hell, but 8% defined it as 'a place of eternal conscious torment for the wicked'.
- 17% either agreed or strongly agreed with the question: Should Euthanasia be Legalised?
For the Religion and Gender Survey:
- 59% stated they believed in Life after Death.
- 35% claimed to pray at least once a day against 25% who said they never prayed at all.
- 28% either agreed or strongly agreed with the statement: 'There is no one true religion, for all religions lead to God'.
- 24% of persons surveyed regarded themselves as 'spiritual' (as opposed to 'Religious') persons.
Website Redesign
At some point it is planned to completely redevelop the Faith Survey website
to move to a 'responsive' design, which will display better on mobile devices such as tablets and phones.
